What is a small-cap AI stock?
A listed company with a small market value whose products use AI. On our screen, market values run from about $12 million to about $760 million on the dates shown on each row, and each company uses AI in what it sells, from identity checks to autonomous drones.
Which small-cap AI companies does First Look Equities cover?
Mitek, Red Cat, Airship AI, Veritone, Intellicheck, Spectral AI, Rekor, MicroVision, SalesCloser, Nextech3D.ai, Knightscope, Yocale.ai. Mitek Systems (Nasdaq: MITK) is the featured company for November and December 2026, chosen from a screen of 26 companies as the strongest on the First Look Score method.
Is this a list of AI stocks to buy?
No. It is research of general circulation: facts from each company's own filings, with sources. First Look Equities makes no recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security and publishes no ratings or price targets.
How do companies get on the list?
Our desk screens US- and Canada-listed companies that use AI in what they sell. Companies are left off for going-concern language, recent reverse splits, unremediated control weaknesses, heavy dilution or no real AI business; the reasons are published on the companies page. No company pays to be listed.
Where do the figures come from?
Each company's own results release or filing, linked on every row; SEC EDGAR for filings; and dated third-party closing quotes for market values.
How often is the list updated?
Filings and results dates refresh each time the site is rebuilt, every weekday; each company's quarter updates when it reports.
